Established in 2011, AGT Manufacturing, LLC is physically located in Hudson, NH, but has several clients in Manchester, NH, Portsmouth, NH, and in Northern Massachusetts and has been rapidly expanding. The company is focused on improving the time it takes to complete decking, siding, and roofing projects through innovative new products. By decreasing the investment of time in a project, the return on investment for the contractor increases. AGT Manufacturing, LLC recently introduced “Trant Bar” to the market. The Trant Bar is a scaffolding accessory that extends laterally from a stage support and provides an extended work area for tool storage, trim, studs, and siding without adding additional staging, board or planking to the scaffolding system. One or more of the support extensions may be affixed to or inserted through the staging portion of the scaffolding. The Trant Bar provides multiple advantages. By expanding out workspace, less time is spent going up and down the ladder for materials. One contractor noted: “Adding the Trant Bar has save me a minimum of 2 hours on each project and has increased my profitability significantly. I can’t remember what it was like prior to the Trant Bar.” The Trant Bar conforms to OSHA standards for ladder safety. By placing the Trant Bar horizontally, the ladder is prevented from moving off the plank. Yet, the ladder can still be extended which saves time versus using traditional methods. The Trant Bar integrates well with other safety features such as safety nets and harnesses. The Trant Bar is quickly becoming recognized as a product that is used for plank siding extensions and for scaffolding safety.
